How did we get our start? In June of 2000, Andy Spivey, a former EMT, started what was then Fire & Safety Outfitters with his dad John Spivey, a 12-foot trailer, and a dream. Our products are unique because we design all of our bags in-house based on the real-life experiences of our employees, many of whom are former EMTs and firefighters. We know what works because we have done the job. By always listening to customer feedback, we are constantly improving upon our products.

The Original And Best, Lightning X Gear Bags And Kits: Our MB25 trauma bag is designed similarly to its sister bag, the MB20 small first responder bag, but with a slightly larger footprint and fully zippered compartments from front to back and top to bottom. It features one large main zippered hold and six smaller compartments, including 3 foam divider compartments and hidden zippered access to the inside of the top flap, perfect for larger items. This first aid bag also includes premium high visibility reflective trim throughout, as well as ballistic nylon zipper pulls with yellow/silver triple trim reflective webbing stitched onto both sides, ensuring visibility on the scene of an emergency. On the rear of the bag is a 9" x 5" laser-cut MOLLE patch, covered in hook & loop material, which can be used for storing tools, displaying morale patches, or even adding one of our custom embroidered name patches. Finally, to accommodate the various tools needed for EMS calls, the MB25 is equipped with 44 different elastic tool loops of varying sizes to keep all of your go-to equipment quickly and easily accessible for a medical emergency.

The MB25 gear bag is designed to be mobile, with a reinforced carry handle and an adjustable, padded shoulder strap, making it perfect for various settings.

Additionally, it includes over 40 elastic tool loops of various sizes to store quick access items such as trauma shears, pen lights, hemostats, and more.

Customizable: The exterior now includes a laser-cut MOLLE patch covered with hook and loop material that can be used to store tools, add morale patches, or affix a custom embroidered name patch.
