The company was started by Andy Spivey, an EMT, as a way to occupy his spare time. He began Fire & Safety Outfitters with his dad John Spivey, a 12 foot trailer, and a dream. Our bags are designed in-house, based on the real-life experiences of our employees, many of whom are former EMTs and firefighters. We know what works because we’ve done the job.
